The DBO tries to achieve its objectives by developing projects. It keeps track of social developments and tries to meet the needs of the vocational training in a generel context.

The reasons for developing projects vary:
    • At the request of the Minister of Education, Training and Employment.
    • At therequest of the Ministry of Education.
    • Anticipating scientific research.
    • Anticipating European initiatives
    • At its own initiative.
