PROJECT INTEGRATED GENERAL SUBJECTS

1 Functional textual literacy

The pupils are able to:

1  select relevant information from different types of texts;

2  compare and integrate information from different types of texts for a specific task;

3  write a brief and clear report;

4  apply socially relevant text information in a practical way;

5  judge socially relevant text information in a critical way;

6  * take a personal stand about socially relevant text information, taking into account ethical principles.

2 Functional numeracy

The pupils are able to:

7  select relevant information from tables, graphs, diagrams or charts;

8  select and process on quantitative data for a specific task;

9  reproduce information in an adequate graphic form for two variables;

10  apply socially relevant quantitative information in a practical way;

11  judge socially relevant  quantitative information in a critical way;

12  * take a personal stand about socially relevant quantitative information, taking into account ethical principles.

3 Functional ICT- literacy

The pupils are able to:

13  generally use the computer in a structured and efficient way;

14  select and use two or more programmes and integrate the results in one product while working on a specific task;

15  select and integrate  information from two different or equal ICT-sources;

16  use socially relevant ICT-applications;

17  judge socially relevant information, acquired by means of ICT, in a critical way;

18  to take a personal stand about socially relevant information, acquired by means of ICT, taking into account both ethical and deontological principles with regard to copyright, privacy, safety.

4 Solving problems

The pupils are able to:

19  independently understand and describe the essence of a problem;

20  detect the influencing factors of a problem, classify them in order of importance and define the interrelations;

21  choose the most convenient solution strategy;

22  make a planning and carry it out;

23  evaluate  the strategy and adjust it if necessary;

24  evaluate the result of the process and optimize the followed strategy;

25  take into account comfort, safety and hygiene in solving problems.

5 Working in team

The  pupils are able to:

26  confer and negotiate about the method, the division of tasks and the responsibilities in  teamwork in order to reach goals;

27  support decisions taken in group for  teamwork;

28  carry out their own tasks in teamwork according to previous agreement;

29  evaluate and if necessary correct regularly their own contribution to process and product;

30  report briefly and communicate about their own contribution to teamwork;

31  discuss about the result and the functioning of teamwork in order to draw conclusions about their own interaction skills;

32  * show empathy, loyalty and mutual respect.
