TECHNICAL-TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION

1 Understanding technics

The pupils can

1 illustrate the effects of technics on man and society and put them in a historic perspective (such as comfort, design, environment and consumerism);

2 illustrate the effects of technics on human behaviour, attitudes, values and norms;

3 distinguish a technical approach from other approaches such as a scientific, artistic and social approach;

4 give a founded opinion on the role of enterprises/organisations in and for society, for instance with regard to prosperity, development and welfare.

2 ‘Technical' understanding

The pupils can

5 recognise knowledge and skills from various sectors;

6 evaluate simple designs and realisations;

7 characterise enterprises/organisations as performers of technical processes and elucidate on the role of various technical professions and skills in this.

3 Attitude

8 The pupils develop a constructive critical attitude towards technics, technical professions and enterprises/organisations.
