About this website

This website is maintained by the Benelux Bologna Secretariat, which supports the Bologna Process in the run-up to the next Ministerial Conference that will take place on 28-29 April 2009 at the universities of Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).

In this task, the Benelux Bologna Secretariat is supported by the members of the Bologna Follow-up Group and its various working and coordination groups.

The website provides information on the countries and organisations involved in process of creating the European Higher Education Area, on the topics covered, on relevant events, and much more worth knowing about the Bologna Process

We hope you will enjoy exploring the fascinating developments related to the creation of the European Higher Education Area with students, higher education staff and policy-makers from 46 countries!

History of this website

This website is based on the websites of previous conference organisers (in particular the website of the Norwegian Bologna Secretariat), and the Benelux Bologna Secretariat is grateful for the generous support of the colleagues from Germany, Norway, and the UK.

All three websites have been "frozen" but are still online and form an electronic archive of the Bologna Process in the period concerned:

2005-2007: UK Bologna Secretariat (London Conference)

2003-2005: Norwegian Bologna Secretariat (Bergen Conference)

2001-2003: Berlin Conference website
